BLAINESWORLD #753, Section 12A

Ted and I [Kimberly Ross] are going to be competing at The Heritage Classic Dancesport Championships this Friday night, March 4th (if you are interested in attending, check out http://theheritageclassic.com/ – you can purchase tickets at the door). The Heritage Classic is the 2nd largest ballroom dance competition in the country and it is held right here at The Grove Park Inn in the Heritage Ballroom! I put this on my “bucket list” as I am turning 50 this year and thought it would be fun to perform an Argentine Tango in the Theater Arts/Cabaret Category to show people that you can still dance at any age! (The other competitors will be in their 20s and will include the top 3 champions in the United States so we do not have any delusions of winning, however we would like to dance our best and entertain the crowd 😉

Lawrence in North Carolina:

If you haven’t heard of Cafe’ (Caring Artists For Evergreen), I strongly urge you to support this. Your ticket price gets you great food, great art, and the fabulous Akira Satake’ band. Sublime music! Plus you are supporting a very good cause! Please come out for a great evening.

Evergreen is one of the top charter schools not only in North Carolina but the whole country. Both my kids went there (one still is there) and truly we love this school.
