Spring Equinox Drum Birthing Retreat OR One-Day

Hello Spirit Beings!

Join Me For a Spring Equinox
Drum Birthing – I am offering the usual Friday evening through Sunday afternoon retreat or a Monday one-day experience as many of you have expressed a challenge committing to an entire weekend.

ONE DAY – March 21, 2011 from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
RETREAT – March 25, 2011 at 7pm – March 27th at 5pm

Do you yearn for an authentically created Native American frame drum? Would you bond more completely with a drum you made with your own hands and heart? Join a circle of incredible like-minded folks as we create our drums in the way of the Shaman. Celebrate the birth of your drum, and the birth of some aspect of yourself which may emerge during the course of our time together.

The eight-pointed star lacing pattern which we will use to create your drum was gifted to Snake Dancer in a vision. It is a powerful symbol which connects you and your drum to the Sacred Medicine Wheel of Life. Snake Dancer will lovingly guide you through all of the simple technical aspects of creating your drum. For more information on the Sacred Medicine Wheel of Life please see OR

$400.00 ($225.00 for the one-day) covers the cost of lodging, teachings and all materials to make a beautiful 16″ round elk skin drum with a maple frame and a beater. Other sizes of drum frames and types of skins (horse, buffalo, moose) are available. Please request preference prior to registering so I can explore any price difference. Food is potluck.

Your registration fee of $150.00 must be received by 3/11/11. Payment using Pay pal is available or of course you can pay by check.

Here is a link to a radio interview which I did last year about Shamanism and the power of birthing your own drum. It is long (30 minutes) but informative.
