Ask any banker if they would consider lending money to you for a business that does not have a Business Plan. Once they wipe the tears of laughter from their face, they will look at you sympathetically and say, “Of course…NOT!”. Why would they do such a mean spirited thing? Lenders know that without a Business Plan (1) They cannot make a valid judgment about whether your business idea is a good one or not and (2) They cannot be sure that you have thought through all the essential issues of your proposed business. And guess what… neither can you! Join our Business Plan workshop and learn how to assess the real chance your business has to survive in today’s hotbed economy.

The speakers are successful business persons who will bring you first-hand insights.

Doug [Hauschild] in North Carolina:

I am excited to invite you to one of the best shows I have ever been in!

We are about to proudly open in a fabulous production of GUYS & DOLLS at the Asheville Community Theatre next weekend, starting Friday, September 23rd. I am playing a Texan, Joey Biltmore and a gambler.

I would love to see you in the audience opening weekend when we have an event each performance:
Friday night 7:30 performance – September 23 – before the show: champagne reception
Saturday night 7:30 performance – September 24 – before the show: Sweet Saturday featuring chocolate delights
Sunday afternoon 2:30 matinee – September 25 – after the show: “meet the cast” talk-back

This big, brassy, Broadway musical has everything you could ever want in a show – splashy sets and costumes and a dazzling array of local talent – singing and dancing their way up and down the aisles of “ACT”. GUYS & DOLLS is often called “Broadway’s perfect musical comedy”. For those of you who say “I don’t like musicals” this is the exception – it is full of sharp wit, one-liners and side-splitting humor that will have you on your feet cheering.

Set in 1950s New York City – it is full of the funniest gamblers and the most beautiful dancing dolls you will ever see. Mix in a stalwart Salvation Army Band ..even Marilyn Monroe and Elvis…and sexy Cuban dancers and you have a recipe for fun and frolic not soon forgotten.

I always like seeing Doug in performance; you will too. Another of my local favorites, Bradshaw Call, is in this production too. The show has always been one of my favorites. With Doug and Bradshaw both in it, I’m sure it is one not to be missed!
