The campaign will be an ongoing effort to remind citizens that Mars Hill has a lot to offer. The goal of this campaign is to get everyone, before going somewhere else for goods and services, to just stop a minute and ask: “Can I get it in Mars Hill?”If you’re a business owner, we hope that your business will do something special on that day, to make it festive. Examples might be a sidewalk sale, balloons for kids, free coffee and cookies, face-painting, a free seminar on a subject that you’re an expert in, a free workshop, etc.If you’re not a business owner, we hope that you will set this day aside to enjoy a fun day in Mars Hill, discover some new things about your community, and support your local professionals, merchants, tradesmen, retailers, shopkeepers, farmers, artists, musicians, and non-profits here in Mars Hill. When you support them, you are supporting the people who provide the jobs, support our schools, and sponsor teams and events.
