I’m sending this to everyone I know who may have Verizon. I apologize if you do not use Verizon and are getting this, but you may know someone you want to forward this to. Of course if you are OK with them monitoring your usage just ignore this.
I spent close to 10 minutes with one particular gentleman who was (initially) very patient with me when I kept insisting I didn’t know what he meant by clicking “start” on my desktop…because there isn’t anything on my desktop except my computer. And I don’t need to start that because it’s already on. Besides, it has an on/off button. The TV has the clicker; should I click to start the TV?
When asked for the serial number I either tell them I can’t find the one on the computer, would one from a box be OK–then I give them the serial number from the box that once held the cable converter (or I tell them my cereal number is Fiber One).
These are the only nuisance calls that leave me smiling and THEM with the ulcer and the headache. Strangely, though, I haven’t gotten any calls in a couple of months.
