Note: Make sure you see the video trailer for the game. A link to it can be found in the above article.

(2) Cappy Tosetti:  You are the cat’s pajamas!!!!!  Thank you so much for sharing Dakota’s story in your newsletter.  So thoughtful of you.  I’m glad the words of comfort touched your hearts.

Thank you so much for mentioning my pet sitting service.  How lovely of you.  There’s nothing like a good word from respected people like the two of you.  Means so much to me.

Love you both so much.

(4) Steve Darter:   No reviews this time? That’s my favorite.

Response: Thanks for letting me know. They will resume in the next issue.

(5) Meredith and Bob Krollman: We have joined your walk a mile team! And our kids love the gluten free crust at standard pizza!!

(6) Tom Swyers: My book’s Kindle Scout campaign went live at midnight this morning!

If there’s any way you can put it in your newsletter for the next few weeks and let your network know it’s available for free, that would be great. I’ve attached a book cover image in case you want to use it.

Here are the details of the competition.

(1) Everyone who nominates the book can get an ebook copy of The Killdeer Connection through Amazon Kindle. (As far as I know, I’m the first one who has done this since the inception of the program. People who nominate a book through Kindle Scout normally get a free ebook from Amazon only if the book is selected for publication. I’ve arranged it through a workaround in my “thank you” email to get everyone a free ebook copy).

(2) Please vote as soon as possible. Even though the nomination period is open through midnight April 1, 2017 EST, the sooner people vote the more likely the book will get on the “hot and trending list” and be considered for selection.

(3) You need to have purchased something from Amazon in your lifetime in order to vote. They will prompt you for your Amazon password before you can nominate the book.

(4) You can nominate the book only once. You nominate it by pressing the blue nomination button.

(5) Some votes count more than others. The more time a voter spends looking at the page, reading the bio and interview, and reading the excerpt, the more that vote will count.

(6) If a survey pops up after you nominate the book, please fill it out. Books with completed surveys are given more consideration than those without them.(

(1) At the Magnetic Theatre from now until March 25: TERRY TEMPEST: THE FINAL INTERVIEW …

Aspiring journalist Olivia Blake has landed an interview with her childhood idol, Terry Tempest, lead singer of the iconic punk band The Storm. It could be the making of her career, but she knows the reclusive punk rocker is notorious for abusing interviewers (when he doesn’t ditch the interview altogether). Olivia brings her friend and fellow Storm fanatic Stacy along for support. For Olivia and Stacy, Terry Tempest is a god—the voice of the band that helped them survive the traumas of their youth. Terry, on the other hand, is none too happy to discover the two “fangirls” in his hotel room, and even more unhappy when his manager locks them all in until he agrees to give an interview. And then there are the guns…

Terry Tempest: The Final Interview is an exploration of fame, fandom, trauma, isolation, and connection. The narrative is by turns hysterically funny, satiric, and painful. The play’s dark ending reveals Tempest to be neither god nor monster, but human, with all the flaws that entails.

Helmed by Magnetic veteran Rodney Smith, and featuring Magnetic regulars Cody Magouirk, Carrie Kimbrell Kimzey, and Pasquale LaCorte, TERRY TEMPEST: The Final Interview introduces playwright Jamieson Ridenhour and actor Hayley Heninger to The Magnetic stage.
